I don't think you can blame those American soldiers for mistakenly shooting a British aid worker at close range whilst trying to free her from her captors. Yes, she was the only woman in the group and yes, she was the only person tied up in the group and yes, she was the only unarmed person in the group. But on the other hand, she probably had a suntan, and that makes things tricky. |
